Heru Gives Directions to Equality Technical Training Participants

Jakarta Acting Governor, Heru Budi Hartono gave guidance to 402 prospective civil servants (CPNS) who took part in the Equality Technical 2024 training at Rindam Jaya Headquarters, Jalan Raya Condet, Gedong Urban Village, Pasar Rebo Sub-district, East Jakarta, Tuesday (1/23) afternoon.

Jakarta must have a Global City patron and destination

At the beginning of his remarks, he thanked the ranks of Rindam Jaya who had trained 402 CPNS during the training.

"Security technical training is part of the trained Reserve Component (Komcad) which has been activated since two years ago by the Ministry of Defense," he expressed.

According to him, after no longer being the capital, the Jakarta Provincial Government must adapt to big cities or become a Global City.

"For this reason, Jakarta must have a Global City patron and destination," he explained.

He urged them to contribute in improving public services and developing the city of Jakarta towards a global city.

"Your knowledge and expertise need to be complemented by attitude, personality, ethics, and integrity to ensure accountable implementation of your duties and be able to bring Jakarta on par with other global cities," he asked.

He explained the relocation of the National Capital was an important momentum that could be used to optimize Jakarta's potential as a center for national and global scale economic activities.

"The city of Jakarta has advantages in various aspects, especially economic aspects, public infrastructure, and human resources," he explained.

Rindam Jaya Deputy Commander, Col. Inf. Rudianto explained that the technical fitness training was held to educate Jakarta Government CPNS to have character.

"There are 21 kinds of activities from main material to supporting methods," he uttered.

He also hoped that this activity would be a motivation for future CPNS preparations.

"What you do while in Rindam will certainly be useful for equipping your students in carrying out their duties as ASN under the Jakarta Government, therefore, the training must be followed well," he stated.
